Slipmat uses PayPal for the integrated event tipjar and ticketing. The new tipping system is available any DJ who has set their PayPal email in the artist profile. The payouts are currently manual and weekly but will be automated soon to happen daily.
PayPal transaction fees include a fixed fee plus a percentage between 2,9-4,4% of the amount plus possible fees from currency conversion. For a simpler structure and for offsetting some of Slipmat running costs we collect following fees from the original tip sum:
- Non-subscribers: 20%
- Frankie Pro subscribers: 10%
So if you have a Frankie subscription, from a tip of $10 you as an artist will get $9.
