In the USA today is National DJ Day, a tribute to DJ’s all over, created to honor the late, great Alan Freed, who was key in popularizing rock & roll. Real DJ’s love music more than anything. Here’s me as a kid in the late 70s, vinyl in hand and giant headphones on. The handsome gentleman next to me is my Dad, who encouraged my love of music, as long as it wasn’t TOO loud.
