Hello Slippers!
Some of you might have noticed that there was no weekly notes this week and the site has been somewhat sluggish past few days. Unfortunately the server environment upgrades we did last week were only half done which means that we currently operate on multiple servers over different physical data centers which unfortunately brought us a lot of lag (about 25ms for every database request, up from <2ms). The problem goes away as soon as we get the move completed, but unfortunately it will still take few more days.
I’ve had to deal with some personal and family-related issues during past few days which unfortunately still takes a lot of my time and focus away from Slipmat. But rest assured, there’s some very nice things coming soon and our festival team is working full on for making the upcoming Slipmat Festival happen
